Publication Process
The publication process in Global Society and Knowledge Review is designed to ensure quality, transparency, and timeliness. The process includes the following stages:
- Manuscript Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal’s official online submission system or via email, adhering to the provided author guidelines.
- Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment for relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to formatting standards, and basic scholarly quality.
- Plagiarism Check: All submissions are screened for plagiarism using professional detection software to ensure originality.
- Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the initial check are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor-in-chief makes a decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject) and communicates it to the author.
- Revision Process: Authors submit revised manuscripts along with a response to reviewers’ comments. The revised version may be re-evaluated.
- Final Acceptance and Editing: Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes copyediting and layout formatting.
- Publication: The article is published online in the current issue and made accessible through open access.
Authors are informed of the process timeline and status at each stage, and the journal aims to ensure a publication decision within 2–8 weeks of submission.
