Publication Ethics
Global Society and Knowledge Review upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. All parties involved in the publication process—editors, reviewers, authors, and publishers—are expected to follow ethical behavior and professional responsibility in line with international standards (such as COPE – Committee on Publication Ethics). Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must be given, and all sources must be appropriately cited. Fabrication, falsification, and misrepresentation of data are strictly prohibited. Editors are responsible for fair and unbiased editorial decisions based solely on the academic merit and relevance of the manuscript, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional affiliation. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of the manuscripts and to maintain confidentiality throughout the peer-review process. They must declare any potential conflict of interest and recuse themselves from reviewing if such a conflict exists. Any violation of these ethical standards will be taken seriously and may result in rejection, retraction, or reporting to relevant authorities or institutions.
